I searched and searched and came up with nothing on 3rd Gen. Both my Trans lines were rotted and leaking, so last month I decided to to a "patch job" and cut out the bad and replace with 3/8" rubber tranny line. Now with the cold weather, (I think the metal part of the lines are contracting) they are leaking a bit. I know I should have used the spring type hose clamp for this reason, but thats in the past.
I just order the new metal lines from toyota (only about $65 for both) and am going to reinstall the RIGHT WAY.
My concern is the threaded fittings on the trans. I guess worse case I will dremel the nut.
Has anyone done these lines before?
I am sure I will be fine doing it, just curious to hear imput.
Thanks!
