Ok I just had a rough country 3inch lift put on and my new tires are rubbing the back of the wheel well. The kit called for a 285/75/16 wheel... How do I fix this issue without getting another set of NEW smaller tires? Please help!!!!

Body lift can help, also can cut the bumper where its rubbing and hammer out the wheel well. Good luck!

I didnt have to do any of that. Even before I had a body lift.

I don't know how especially with treadrights. I thought they ran large.

I have different fenders without the cutout as you see in the pic and I rub with 3" lift and light racing control arms. The only way I could possibly avoid rubbing is to adjust my caster.

I have 1.5" bl and about 3.5" coil lift in rear. I also have my bump stops lowered about 3 1/4" which helps a lot. I rub barely on the inside of the stock rear bumper at full flex. The treadwrights sit near 33.4" new.

You have to pound the pinch weld flat in the pictures linked above. You will probably still rub there at suspension compression and a certain range of steering angle. My 4runner has a 1" BL and only '99 springs. I just drive around the rub. It is not a problem at all day to day normal on road driving, the only rub is on the frame at full steering lock.

Off road, I avoid the steering angle that rubs the front pinch weld when the suspension is compressed...I'd love to afford a toytec or similar lift but this setup has worked (not torn anything off) for a few years now.
I have no rub issues in the rear at all and no contact with front or rear bumpers which are stock and unmodified....this is on a '97 SR5 with 285/75-16 goodyear duratracs
