Rough guess on repair costs?

My 03 has a slow coolant leak and I am just trying to see what my options are...

The leak appears to be coming from the driver side lower radiator area. I will look at it closer this weekend to se if I can give a more definite answer to where it is coming out of.

A coolant stop leak additive? Do these things work? Will it ruin the Toyota Long Life Coolant or cooling system?

How much should the following roughly cost at the shop?

Leaky hose or clamp?

Water pump replacement?

Radiator replacement?

Any input would be greatly appreciated... Thank you!

Just get a LKQ replacement. 200 bucks. Probably 100 to install if its NOT the dealership and $80 in fluids.

Had mine for about 2 years now with no problem and took it through Moab, Wyoming, and Colorado.

I'm not sure how much those things would cost, but don't put any additives in. You'll regret it later.

Check to see if its your cooler lines. Those lines are prone to rusting and have pressure cracks in them. I got a tyc radiator for around 100 on amazon. Not too hard to do.

A radiator isn't tough to do -- nor is a water pump. That is, if you have the time and constitution to do the work yourself. Maybe $250 in parts without the coolant.

If you find an honest shop, you'll probably pay $450-$500 for the water pump, the radiator, and the serpentine belt/tensioner while you're in there.

How much should the following roughly cost at the shop? this maybe a 2 hour job.

Leaky hose or clamp? nope, definitely a leaking radiator

Water pump replacement? get a bright flashlight and look for the leak under the radiator's bottom and side.

Radiator replacement? definitely the way to go.

Right on with the bad radiator. Had it replaced., cost me $367.
