royal purple motor oil and lubricants

I know most of us go by mobil1 and AMSoil but wondering if anyone heard anything about royal purple

I just switched at 8200K. Quite pricy unless you get a discount somehow. I paid 4.77Q with a discount. Some swear by it and Hotrod Mag(I think?) on SpeedVison TV dyno'd after Royal purpling all fluids including the tranny and they indicated a small HP gain. Is it worth it? If you can pay the same for RP as any other full syn than I say go for it!

Is RP mail order like Amsoil? If not, where can I pick it up?

Some Pep Boys carry it. That's all I ran in my Integra's tranny and never had any problems. I'm running it in my 4Runner now (engine oil) and can't complain.

Summit Racing carries it. Granted that is mail order. I think Advance Auto parts or O'Riley's sells it. I has been a while since I was in an O'Riley's so not for sure about them.
