RTT and awning question

No rooftop tent, but I just mounted the OVS 180 awning to my Sherpa rack. The mounting brackets are beefy but the take up some space on the crossbars. My advice would be to use six 1/4-20 carriage bolts, one inch fender washers, and standard washers on each bracket. Doing this will require two crossbars per bracket, otherwise you will only be able to line up three bolts per bracket rather than six.
As a result you may lose some flexibility with your crossbar placement unless you add a few extra crossbars.

What are you looking for specifically? A pic of this exact setup? How to make this setup work? Because you can just google this and find a ton of pics of vehicles with both RTTs and awnings together.
Pics on a 4runner would be nice. Any issues. I am thinking about the extra weight on top while offroading. And then I need to figure out what kind of cargo box/boxes to store stuff. So I am just starting to prepare for the next step
The 4Runner is close to being done and we are starting to plan trips and now I am working on making decisions on how to store stuff. I will need a few more things like skid plates, a fridge, and a duel battery setup and maybe 1 set of lights Ditch or on the new SSO bumper being made for spotting, we have a 20 inch extreme LED x6s that is going in the bumper and that is really it. So Now the part comes to storage and sleeping arrangements.

I run both on a Prinsu knockoff rack. It might just be the mounts i'm using and the fact that the RTT is pretty wide and takes up the whole rack, but its extremely annoying to remove one or the other. The tent sits so low on the rack its hard to access the awning/bracket mounting points and conversely the awning sits so close to the side of the rack that it's hard to access the tent mounting points. I'd probably remove the awning since I use the tent annex more often but it's a PITA so I just leave it on.

I’ve been running the Arb flat rack with their awning mounts. We’ve got an Arb 2000x2500 awning with room and an IKamper x-cover on it. Perfect size for both of them and no noise or issues having them both up there.

First is mine with the CVT Mt. Hood and CVT awning. I love both. You will definitely feel the extra weight up top while offroading. No way around putting a 100+ lb tent on the roof and not feeling it. The awning is light in comparison and that won't make that big of a difference, but everything you put up there adds up. My tent, awning, roadshower, maxtrax, axe, shovel, and hi-lift all on the roof add up to over 300 lbs plus then the weight of the Gobi rack. So close to 400 lbs aftermarket on the roof. And I definitely feel it. BUT I've done many very difficult trails and steep and off-camber sections and haven't had an issue yet.
For storage, I don't have much room on the roof because the tent takes up all the space, besides the small things I mentioned above that I put on top of the hardshell tent. If you got a smaller tent that folds out you could have more storage room on the roof. Either mount storage boxes up there to put stuff in (many options including plano, roam, front runner, etc.) or you can also use a cargo carrier bag.
