Since my '12 t4r SR5 was the last 2012 in the area I was more interested in getting a nice discount than the perfect package for my needs. As such I ended up with running boards that I'm not crazy about. They were easy enough to take off. Anyone else removing them should know that they mount to frame with the same bolts that hold the rocker panel on. Just remove those bolts, 6 for each running board, 12 total, and run them back in to hold your rocker panel.
Here is before and after.
If anyone wants these running boards I'll let them go cheap. They are only 3 days old. I'll consider shipping at your expense. They are about 5'10" and weigh about 50-55 lbs for the pair.
