running board replacement question

I have an 08 limited with factory running boards. I plan to switch them with nerf bars this week. My question has to do with the lights on either end of the existing running boards. Once I take these boards off...I imagine there will electrical wiring to deal with. How do I best cap that off and tuck it?...Since my new nerf bars have no lighting? thanks

You can probably just wrap it in electrical tape, it's pretty short so it shouldn't be had zip tie to itself and get it out of the way. I ended up using mine to connect 2 led light strips on each side above the nerf bar steps.
