Running Boards cost to order and Bull Guards ?s

I think the running boards should be standard on the limited. Its obviously not a trail beast and I think it adds to the 'Limited' look. 500 is way too steep I think, and I think thats cheap of Toyota to not include them on the limited.
Question though... the RBs seem to limit the ground clearance and it got me thinking about the cats. Are they protected at all, or are they just as vulnerable as in the 4th gen? Thanks guys.

I sure would like to know where you got them. My 2010 could really use a set. The wife is short and has a hard time getting in and I am getting tired of all the mud , slush , and salt spray that gets thrown up on the rear passenger door handles. Where in the US should I start looking?

If you are in the south east US, call your Toyota dealer service desk and ask them for 2010 running boards. Price is $345+tax and $135 installation fee, which is about $500.
I like mine; it is now easier to get in and out of the car. As you mentioned it protects mud from the front tire being sprayed to the side of the car.

Just tried that number up here in the NE and they said "no", their numbers are all 10 digit so I guess I will have to wait longer. They said aftermarket would be about another month or 2.
I wonder how much it would cost to ship them here from the SE. What dealer did you use, I might want to give them a call. Thanks!

Just be thankful that you have them on your 06. I am not so much concerned about the looks of the running boards as I am about the looks of my 30K+ truck after a five minute ride through the winter conditions here in the northeast. Road crap is all over the place on the sides of the thing, and heck, you can't even get mud flaps. Figure I will need a new paint job in a year or so. Nice thing about running boards is that they serve multiple purposes, as a step, as a front mud flap , and as a device to protect a rather large investment. Hope I can get some soon!!!!

Thanks for the photo.After seeing your photo I was so happy and called to my dealer to order,but unfortunately they couldn't do it and said that I have to wait 2 or 3 months and call again.Why couldn't be the same chance in the same country.I am so disappointed now because my wife is complaining that the car is too high for her.Any way thanks again for the photo.

Your dealer probably can't find the part number and is feeding you BS or else he could order it.If it even is OEM Toyota parts that are on Ralphpit's 4runner.
Toyota part numbers are either 10 digit numbers with the first 5 being the drawing number and the second 5 the part number ,like XXXXX-XXXXX or 6 digit numbers with the last being a letter ,like 58766A.I've seen the EPC(ELECTRONIC PARTS CATALOG)at my dealers parts dept. and it is kinda confusing for the new 5th's. He probably can't find the part number)s.
Ralphpit........ if you could be so kind to get the part numbers either from YOUR dealer, your dealer parts dept.contact phone number to call to get them or they might be on your invoice/reciept when you had them installed. Where are you even at? I find it hard to believe they can only ordered by region!I personally am waiting for aftermarket ones but seems to be alot of interest on the forum for them.

The part number for the Running boards, they call it FP-Number is 00016-89035. You can call the part departement at 704-535-1972.

I called my dealer in MA, said the number was 'no good', but also explained that numbers vary across the country. Was told numbers from FL are no good in MA. Hmmmmm interesting!? I might call your dealer and just have them shipped as I have no idea how long it will take for mine to get them. I've never heard of a company having different numbers for the same part, how is that efficent?!
