Running Boards or Finishing Kit

Hey guys,
So yesterday I was bored so I decided to take off my running boards. Couple of comments:

1) The SUV looks a lot longer without the runnings boards (at least non-lifted). Kinda like a crossover SUV. ewww.

2) The removal of the running boards makes the t4r look like its been lifted. This convinced me that I will be feeding it corn within 6 months.

3) The running boards seem to finish off the look of the T4R. Without them on, you can see the underside of the vehicle with several things seemingly protruding down.

Needless to say, I put them back on. Thoughts? I know a lot of you have removed yours.

I keep mine on. If anything it reduces splatter and you can't see gas tank hanging under neath.

I think it looks much better without them. Plus whenever I got out of the car my leg would hit them, if they were wet or dirty it would get my pants dirty. To me the only use for them is to get to stuff on the roof, but i can reach my racks so its not an issue.

I took mine off , but really dont like the stuff you see hanging underneath. To me the look nice but are crap collectors and always get my pants dirty if I'm not careful. Also it low enough that they are not really needed. If I was to lift significantly I would put them back on .

I have an 06 sport so I do think the tube steps are a nice product and add to the overall look.

It looks to low with them on and no lift.
