Running boards or No Running boards?

Decided to take off the Running boards, have had some positive feedback, but there were several people who said I should leave them on. I know its mostly just personal preference, but what do you think???

Short wiives/girlfriends like 'em but if you off road they should be removed and I prefer no running boards as mine never had 'em.

Ive actually been told that a few times now!! lol

keep the one on the passenger side for my 3 year old and short wife, and get rid of the driver...

I pulled both off, and I think im gonna keep em off cuz my buddy is gonna build me some rock sliders like the ones on Jeff/cubuffrunners 4runner. After he saw the video here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H5dSz_WpqGM he said he would build some for me just like his..

It took me awhile, but I finally took them off and they have stayed off.

Been OFF for three years now. And NOT going back. Full disclosure: GF and two of three kids are over six feet. I'm the short one. Third kid (daughter) is in Peace Corps in Africa so not a factor.

If we ever get to grandkids, the RB's are in the basement.
