If you live in the north, leave them on. The road salt will wreck your rocker panels really quick. The running boards shield them. I wheel my 4runner, and have had zero issue with my running boards snagging.
And running boards protect from gravel. We have a lot of that here.
There are a couple runners in my area without boards and the rockers and door lowers are covered in rock chips. Very ugly, think sandblasted.
I think if you do see much gravel driving invest in really good mud flaps on the front.
Love th ose mud guards. Gotta lead on an after market supplier?
Those are the SR5 skinny black flares (Almost impossible if not impossible to find the mudguards for this flares), the ones you have are the SR5 wide flares/ Sport Flares
you need the Highland Contura splash guards (model 11051, style G) for your sport flares.

Sounds like justification for some wide sliders. :eyebrows:Oh, momma not happy btw lol (4'11"),
Her: "Guess I'll have to jump in now"
Me: "I never need them, they're pretty much useless. Look nice on a minivan though".
Her: "Well I use them"
Me Pointing to the Sequoia: "That one has them".....
No problem, you will need to do some minor trimming to the mudguards to fit.Awesome. bought em. Thank you my friend!
