They will fit, but only if you remove the factory rocker panels on the SR5 first. The mounting holes are the same-I have TE N-Fab nerf steps on my SR5, so there's your proof. Removing the factory rocker panels leaves some unsightly body hardware exposed. I dealt with that issue with some Frog Tape, a can of flat black paint, and an hour of time spent carefully masking and painting.
The rocker panels on the SR5 and Limited are much larger than the ones on the TE, meaning they sit quite a bit lower. If you want to put TE steps or running boards on an SR5, you basically have four options (all of which have been done by members here).
1. Remove the rockers altogether (what I did)
2. Cut the rockers smaller with a Dremel so the TE parts fit underneath
3. Have spacers fabricated to make the TE parts fit below the SR5 rockers
4. Go all out and replace all the body plastic with TE parts $$$$
I still have a set of brand new running boards off my trail edition! I'm in Canada, but would gladly ship to USA. I am asking only 100 dollars, but you pay the shipping.
