Running Yakima Megawarrior rack through carwash

I have a '96 4runner with the Yakima Megawarrior rack and was wondering if any of you folks have run yours through a carwash safely.

I have the Yakima Load Warrior on my 2000 Runner which is just the smaller version of the Mega Warrior. Ran it thru the car wash yesterday..... no problems.... however I have upgraded the mounting brackets to "Ubolts" to a more secure structure to carry my 33 MT and Hi Lift.....

If you cherish your paint job then it would be smart to avoid those auto-car washes entirely.

i got through the car wash once every week or two with mine on and no problems various carwashes, basically any carwash that my height will allow 7'3 seems to be as low as i want to go.

get a silver or white truck, shows less scratches ;-) lolj/k
