Ryan's 2012 TE Build Thread

Well time to get around to my build thread. I'm a slow starter on my truck...but I'm ready to get after it pretty hard now.

I'm set comms wise now. Between the two handhelds, the quad band HAM and the CB...I should have no issues talking to whomever I might need to.

Why? Because Zombies.

Lookin good!

Thanks...just the basic stuff so far. I was focusing on driving this past summer. I picked up the truck on May 20th and in the last 5 months I've put 14,000 miles on it. The Vette got another 4k miles or so.

Now my dilemma comes in to play in deciding what I want to do or approach my first set of real changes.

Lift and tires first? (can I run 285/70's on stock suspension trail?)
Recovery and bumpers first? (Need an upgraded lift first?)
Lights?

Decisions.

Looks good! It looks like you also have the stock mudflaps. Any rubbing issues? Still using the stock UCAs?

Ahh...well only on the first day of the install. Just took it out for a spin to get adult frosties and yeah the front left is rubbing inner fender. There's a fix to that somewhere? Anyhow...not sure on the mud flaps? I'm a less is more kinda guy so I'd not be opposed to tossing mud flaps in the trash? Should I?

Yeah I have the Light Racing UCAs. Didn't install the diff drop. Kinda a weird sensation falling out of your truck that you used to just swing out of yesterday.
