S/C owners: Exhaust piping size?

Any supercharged 4runners running a larger diameter exhaust?
Obviously we aren't boosting much but just wondering what size pipes your running and if you noticed any differences if you changed piping in between.

Thinking about redoing my exhaust now that I got my SC on with wondering if I should stick with the stock piping and just change the muffler or move up to a 2.5"?

im not SCd but im running 2.5" from the cat back... works great for me

It's a lot easier to find 2.5" stuff locally than the 2.25" stuff.

I think the piping on my Borla Exhaust on my s/c Tacoma is 2.5" piping. I have Doug Thorley headers as well.

My s/c 4Runner is still on the factory exhaust from 1997.

I've got a supercharged 4 banger with 2.5".. the back pressure may be too low for my motor, but the V6 should be more than good with that size.

Wondering if up-ing to a 2.5 is worth it still or not, had a 2.5 before on a NA 3.4 couldn't tell the difference but maybe there's something I don't know about getting it done on a SC 3.4

Haha maybe I'm over thinking this. Haha if there is a difference it's probably going to minimal anyway

I've got 2.5, first cat still on rear cat removed with a borla muffler...its not loud, but when I get on it, whew she screams

Interesting. You think the stock 2.25 has better torque and HP?
I'm wondering if it'll be the same for SC or not. Haha

I just got a tru flow air filter and the trd exhaust and header.

Pretty makes it 50 state legal and not to loud, you can hear the rumble but there is no drone.

Yep, TRD headers to 2.5" all the way back.
