Today was nuts. Glad we all made it thru there. It was super cool meeting everyone. Not sure if I'd be doing that trail again, but I'm up for something somewhere else for sure. Keep me posted ladies and gentlemen!
Oh and if anyone has any sweet pictures or videos, it'd be cool to post them or send them. PM me if you want for a phone number to send it to, I'd like to see the 4Reak in action if anyone has any footage...I think a few people were taking video with various devices.

Sorry for holding you guys up on the trail so much today, but man was that a good learning experience. It was nice meeting all of you today and seeing some other rigs. Hopefully we arrange another trip here so I can get some redemption on this trail since I think my ATRAC hadn't been working up until we huddled in a group in the trees before heading towards the top, as I reset my ECU there, and heard/felt ATRAC kick in at two spots on the way up.

I didn't think it went too bad. Those couple parts were intense in my opinion. I felt bad I didn't really help, but I also had no idea what I was doing either. As long as we all made it out with zero to minor issues that's all that matters really. Don't be hard on yourself man. We all gotta learn somehow! I learned a lot too.

It was great meeting everyone! Me and Shayal ended up going back to camp at that grove where we re-grouped. We went back up to the top just after sunrise the next morning for some more great views and wheeling. I just wasn't ready to leave that place! Big thanks to Brian for putting that together.

Looks killer man. Would have loved to stay just couldnt pull it off. You guys are lucky. I pm'd to hound some more about footage... Nobody believes I actually took the Old Girl somewhere besides a grocery run. I need proof! Good to have you man. we should do something again sometime. They were intense, yes. But i'm sure picking the right line and knowing how to drive the truck would've helped get through it as well. haha
No worries, I'm just glad you guys stopped where you did and didn't leave us behind too far. haha
That is very true. Definitely glad we didn't have a rig fail on us, or something bad happen. I really can't wait to get out more and learn to do something that intense. And hopefully, with my ATRAC working next time.. haha
That must've been a really nice view.. Makes me want to camp out there next weekend.

Your ATRACK probably never kicked in as it looked like you were braking traction before it kicked in.
The lower the air pressure your tires will allow you to go, the better also.
Looks like you all had a great time, too bad I was throwing back too many fish at the same time!

Well I haven't stopped thinking about this trip. One thing I gotta get off my chest: I owe [MENTION=157695]theoutbackdream[/MENTION] (Matt) a huge apology as well as my fellow 4Runner brethren for not only NOT giving him a yank or two, but also allowing a jeep to do it... I'm truly sorry and its legitimately bothering me. So I owe you a beer/beverage of your choice.
On a brighter note: Pretty sure I officially have the Offroad Bug now. Sucks it came at a time when I don't have as much free time as I used to. But I did order a sweet ass 4x4 trail book. So I'm gonna read thru it and find some cool stuff and hopefully some of you guys will want to tackle some other awesome day trips/over-nighters. It has begun
