Sanders and trump are two sides of the same coin, unfortunately. Both catering to the more base appeals of their respective camps. Don't even get me started on Hillary. This promises to be the strangest election cycle in living memory, without a doubt.
McCain was ridiculed in 2008 when he warned about the dangers of celebretizing the political process, but he was right. It gave us president Obama and now very likely president Trump.

can we all just do a write in vote for Pedro? In all honesty I think with participants dropping out of the race on the GOP side Trump will lose a lot of momentum to Cruz/Rubio and on the DNP side I have no idea how its going to play out. In the long run however what really matters is who wins congress seats as they have more impact on our daily lives while the POTUS just campaigns and blames one side or the other

What we need to do is take a page from Brewster's Millions and start a "Vote for No One" campaign. It's really, really sad that we have gone from voting for a president that might actually make a change (40+ years ago) to voting for the lesser of the evils.

For me it is easy to understand the appeal of Trump.
Not for myself but I see it in others.
People just don't like Hillary and people think America needs a shake up.
I don't like the fact that Hillary says she would let in 60,000+ Syrian refugees or her dumbass stance that we should escalate the Syrian war. She is much more of a hawk than her husband ever was.
In Europe we see the rise of the far the right, the just closed the borders cutting off Greece from the EU 3 days ago. The Union is beginning to break because they let so many immigrants in they can no longer control the inflow. Britain is holding a referendum on leaving. That alone would be considered unbelievable just 2 or 3 years ago.
America needs an option that is not Hillary or Trump. Bernie has downsides and his political revolution is not happening, America, at least the ones who vote are still center right/left but not far left.
