The other thread was obviously closed for a reason. Why would you stir the pot and re-open a thread they obviously wanted closed?


I kind of think you missed the point, it wasn't about your decision to trade in a "perfectly good" vehicle, it was more about starting a thread for it and then debating with people within the thread to justify your decision (to yourself). But, lets just leave it at that. I posted in the other one that you are entitled to do whatever you want with your money and its none of my business. Let's just nip this thread in the bud before it gets even worse than the original.

this times a million. I didn't close the thread because I disagree with you, I closed it because it was getting argumentative and incredibly off-topic. We have off-topic and general sections, use them.

Because I respectfully have a problem with someone I don't know makes an executive decision to cease communications between humans on a public forum. That's not what this is about even if language gets a bit colorful.

do you know anyone here? I close threads that are problems and going to make people angry and make this an unpleasant place. That is what was happening in that thread.

I don't own one but damn near bought a Trail. Was giving it a ton of thought because I loved the way they look in silver and red. I loved it so much I was able to look past the difference in quality as I perceived it between the Trail and the 08 SR5 I owned. Until one day I drove the 07 Sport v8 I now own. After I drove it (and the dealer did give it to me to drive overnight) I was blown away, forgot the Trail, and traded in my 08 v6.

again, not biased, the thread went the wrong direction. read threads on Tacomaworld, that's not what we want here.

Now we're making progress here. The love is shining through. We all just love talking, arguing, agreeing, disagreeing, sharing, helping, advising, and giving opinions about trucks. Nobody should be able to "close" that.
