San Antonio 4runners?

Yeah man. They do everything there (ameraguard...same owner as tint world). Paint, Bedliner spray, hydro dipping, etc you name it. They are expanding too and Danny the owner is SUPER friendly.

I got my icon stage 2 lift installed by them and it was perfect first install. I did hear a rattling but it was actually from a bad Toyota bolt, unrelated to the install. They still had me bring it in free of charge, swapped the bolt and charged me ZERO for their time and parts.

I drive a silver 5th gen SR5 Lift and tires is all I have on it for now. I'm thinking of starting a dedicated group and monthly meets. Starting old school like in a parking lot in the morning and a ride in the afternoons or something. Wondering how the interest will pan out though. What is your rig?

Im planning on going with Icon also, good to know they did a good install, did you order your parts from them or bring in your own parts. I know us forum members can get some good deals here when they pop up and heard shops only install stuff they sell.
Id be in on the group meets if you get one together, me and my bro both have Rigs. Super white and Red.

Let's do it man. I'll get a thread started called San Antonio meet up or something like that. I did purchase it from them also. They pretty much turned a hundred for profit on top of the cost and shipping and their labor was a little more than other shops but they guarantee the work for the lifetime of the vehicle as long as you own it. Pretty awesome.

Yeah, if ya get one going, can count and me and brother in.

I should be in also. My best friend has a 4x4 2015. That's lifted and all.
I think I've seen you driving around the navy blue runner. It looks sick. Btw I'm looking to sell or trade my wheels if anyone local is interested. I'm looking to trade for TRD pro rims or the FN versions or just sell outright

San Antonio Meet Up Apr 16

in case anyone missed it. We are planning a 4Runner meet and greet for San Antonio, April 16 - at 1030AM off I-10 and Boerne Stage rd. Fralo's Pizza.

Anyone here in SA installed a gobi rack/ladder before? About to buy one and wondering if someone would be willing to help for some beer/lunch/etc. I know it's not a big deal, I'm just leery since the front legs and ladder mounts are adhesive so I'll only get one shot once the backing's off

Its pretty easy and straight forward. I could probably give you a hand. Provided momma is cool with it.

Welllll install party might be pushed out a bit. Dislocated my shoulder again yesterday and think I'm going to go the surgery route.

Sorry to hear. I work in the medical field and could recommend some orthopedic surgeons if you don't know any.

ABSOLUTELY! I have been seeing Tolin at TSAOG and am satisfied, but that's been for office visits. I dislocated it rock climbing, so I'm looking for a sports orthopedic surgeon who can fix me up so I can be worry-free. I'd really appreciate any sort of guidance.

I know of Dr. Tolin, but I have not worked with him. I will ask around for you. I have scrubed with many of the guys in SAOG. I have worked with Dr. Jacobs, Viroslav, Hibberd, and Kiaser. All though Kiaser was a fellow when I worked with him. Viroslav and Hibberd are excellent but really don't specialize in shoulders. Jacobs is also excelent and does shoulders, he would be a good option. Possibly a second opinion from Dr Jacobs.

"The" guy to see in town is Dr.*David R.*Schmidt,*M.D. I have not seen his work 1st hand or any of his follow up patients, but the man cuts on professional athletes, so theres that.

I work with Dr. Stacy Rust who speacilaizes in upper extremities and she has profesional athletes aswell. She is very good.

I have been a scrub tech for 14 years and I have assisted in hundreds of surgeries orthopedic and otherwise. And I can tell you not all surgeons are the same. Just like anything else in this world, there are people who are truly gifted at what they do, good at what they do, average of what they do, and those who shouldn't be doing what they're doing.

Luckily there are few butchers out there, but they are out there. Luckily the medical field is a small world and word gets out pretty quick, I'll find out anything for you . The San Antonio Orthopaedic Group is a good group and you should be in good hands.

Hey all. I'm going to start a Google Group and get it going for us. If you can PM your email address (gmail preferred) I can start adding you all to it. I'll also be bringing a notebook with me so I can take down the emails of folks that either forget or that aren't subscribed to this forum (Our Taco family). Pass the word around and see you this upcoming Saturday!

Holy crap can't believe this is happening. I might call up Fralo's and let them know a big party is headed their way. See if they can't block out parking spaces and give us some discounts on their grub!

PS: I'll also PM you back my email address upon receipt of yours. In case you feel wary of that, I don't mind until we meet in person and if you're comfortable then you can put down the email addy into the notebook. It's only to add you to the group so we can have a free area to organize future meetings and keep up to date with ideas/events.

:::cross posted:::

Hey everyone, I just wanted to let you all know that I was able to establish with them a 10% discount for all food items purchased for all people coming. Because we will be there earlier than when they open a manager will be available to let us in at 10:30 but they will also make sure that we have parking for our vehicles. I will be in a silver 4Runner with a vault tec Vault boy bobblehead on my Dash. For those of you who love fall out, yes I am a nerd in that regard. I'm looking forward to seeing you all there have a safe Friday and see you tomorrow

Hey everyone! My name is Deborah and Im from San Antonio. I purchased an 08 4runner about a month ago and I am in love with it. Can anyone recommend somewhere I can take the runner in to get a level kit installed? I already picked up the level kit, just need it installed. Also picked up some '14 SR5 wheels and want to get them installed as well . Any recommendations here in SA, I would gladly appreciate .

Thanks!

Welcome to the T4R community. not sure about shops as most folks here have done install themselves as I plan to do also. But I know Ameraguard off Bandera rd was mentioned at last group meet and they did a good job on his T4R for suspension install. As far as wheels/tires can't go wrong with Discount Tire.

Lonestar Jamboree

I'm going to the Jamboree. Were people still planning on meeting up and driving up as a group? I'm staying at the Gilmer Inn.
