hey guys. havnt done anything to the runner in a while.
But ive been having this sound coming from the front end for a while now and finally decided to get it on video. this happens while in gear, this is in reverse with the ebrake on. I hear it at other times also. hoping its not something in the tranny...

I swear I remember someone talking about flex plate issues with cracking on the 3.4? Can anyone verify this?

Maybe that is what you are hearing.

Does it do it in anything but drive or reverse?

I cracked my flex plate awhile back. That noise in the video doesn't sound like a cracked flex plate though. Mine was a constant tick in drive, reverse, neutral. Sounded like a ticking lifter. Pull the inspection plate and see if you can see anything up in there.

Have you noticed anything while driving as far as a change in shifting or hesitation or anything?

That's what I'm afraid of..... I had to replace the one on my 96 and it was making a different noise.
Shifting is the same but then again it has been happening for a while. It happens while in gear.

Havnt done anything with the runner in a while, been super busy with work.
But this past weekend I picked up from Robert (scrunner12) His Tundras and 285 Nitto terra grapplers. Just what I wanted and so far I love them!
