Thanks, I ran a car fax and obtain service records from the dealership it was serviced at. So i have so what of an idea of what shape its in. But i feel it lacks a little power for a V6. I wouldn't mind meeting some 4runner enthusiast, could definitely use more knowledge. Might be heading your way Wednesday or Thursday...maybe you can helpe further devirginize her. I know a few dirt roads in the SC mountains, but nothing real enough to flex. Lol

Ok so i need to find some lug nuts, last weekend at pismo i managed to loose 2 on my right front.:wtf: wheres the best place to get aftermarket lug nutts? and what type would work with my rims?

finally cut off the exhaust so it wasnt hanging so far below the bumper. sounds a lot better to now actually!

Looks good Drew. Same spot I cut mine back too.

Hey ARKRWLR I have never had an issue with rattling. Just have to be sure you still have all the factory mounts prior to that point.

today my left front cv boot finally ripped after 191k miles... right front still looks fine. guess i should have installed that diff drop...

My buddy ripped his shortly after going through the mud bog('99 Tacoma?), and ripped his skidplate. Anyone got a diagram on how a diff drop kit looks/works?

there are 2 bolts holding up the front diff, 2 big ass bolts cant miss it, take those bolts out, put a spacer in between the mount and the frame, put in longer bolt. done deal
