Really depends on who's doing it. I've heard of people almost failing visual because of the deckplate and/or isr, but unless the tester is a real stickler for details you should be fine. :D

i know the shop well. my mom used to work there and i know them well so hopefully they let it pass :)

I personally would put the deck plate plug in and if you have your factory intake tube and Intake silencer, I would put it all back. They can't complain about anything if it looks factory right?

If not then at least put the deck plate plug in so they can't say that you have modified the original airbox.

if i had one haha i didnt do the traditional deckplate. i just cut out two holes. i want to redue it tho.

I just had this done and I didn't remove the ISR. I always have my deckplate in though. You should be good, but who knows with some of these shops.

^ Congrats!

Wow, the Cali emissions regulations are terrible. I could run catless exhaust here and would never run into any problems. :canada: Not that I would but....

Oh well, that's got to be one of the only bad things about living in California.

and the prices .....

and the number of people ....

and ... lol

Yah there's drawbacks, but at least your 4Runners don't literally ROT away for 8 months of the year. Winter never leaves, and my 4Runner curses the season everyday.

Oh, and our gas, food, beer, and auto parts are WAY more expensive. Pretty much if you like cars in Canada - life sucks....
