Satellite Radio in 2007 SR5

It's been a few years since I last posted on here but I'm getting my 2007 4Runner from my wife since she just got a new car. I drive a lot for work so I want to add satellite radio to it and wanted to see what the best looking and cheapest way to go about doing it would be? I've got the stock radio with no JBL system and no SAT button on the head unit. I've read some old posts from 2011 and before so I wanted to see if there were any newer ways to do it other than having an aftermarket Satellite radio or aftermarket head unit so I can keep the mostly stock look.

Something like a Scion T1819 would be the cheapest way to get what you're looking for, sounds like.

Does that radio have a built in satellite receiver? Does it require anything extra to use the satellite radio portion?

I imagine it requires an external receiver, but I think any other headunit would as well. I didn't use satellite radio when I had one installed, so I can't say for sure.

I dont think anything has a built in receiver...I think they are just "ready" but I bet you can tell from EBay pics....I would think if Sirius is built-In the Sirius ID# would be tagged externally.

It was done on my car with the stock system. I never really figured out how it worked. I just tore it out since I don't use the radio. It was made by Parrot if that helps.

i bought a pioneer double din, one of those avh series ones, then i had to buy the XM receiver separate, i think it was like 80 or 100 bucks. the thing i like about the pioneer is that when you set you presets, you can rewind (aka go back) to what you were listening to. That is only on the presets you have saved. So if you are listening to your favorite taylor swift song (lol), once it ends, you can replay it and then if you dont like whats next you can skip ahead of it to what is live.
