Sorry to take so long to get back here...
Wiring was simple, all plug and play. With the TOYSC1 and the SVCDOC, all you do is plug the Lexus/Toyota (TOYSC1) into the back of the nav system, plug the connector that you "unplugged" to make room for the TOYSC1 back into the piggyback that is a part of the harness, then you plug the "dock" for the Sportser 4 (most PnP units actually, mine just happened to be an S4) into the TOYSC1, and then plug in the actual S4 radio into the dock.
Had it installed for some time now, about a month. Works great.
I ended up putting the dock/S4 in the hidden upper glove box - laying on its back. Mounted the TOYSC1 in the panel just below the glove box alongside a couple of computer modules (one said it was for the 4x4 system...) and just bundled, zip-tied and hid the wiring in there, in the dash, and some in behind the little storage thingie right above the cup holders.
The nav sys recognized the system with no problem, the song titles and artists scroll properly and all is well. Only issue was losing the number of presets. The S4 itself can hold 31 channels in a native standalone install, the nav system is only setup to do 18 (Sat 1-2-3 X 6 each). Good news is, that the onboard presets for the S4 are still there when I take it out of the T4R and put it in any of my other rides. It's just like the bluetooth deal - the nav system has its own phonebook/memory, but leaves the phone's contact list alone otherwise.
I put the antenna up in roof-center, between the spoiler and rear roof rack crossbar at the back of the roof. I was worried about 1) breaking the plexi-cover on the roof rack for the stealth install, and 2) reception being an issue since I am "so far" away from the Sirius satellite as it is, which is said to be over Minnesota. I routed the wire down through the rubber gasket around the rear hatch door, dremeled a relief notch near the right tail lamp under the gasket (clear coated the dremeled area for rust prevention), crossed it over there, and routed it under all the trim/plastic from there to the area under the glove boxes - left about 1ft of spare wire by the time I had it completely run and connected. The spoiler does a good job of hiding the antenna from casual observers. And in fact, the antenna is all you can see of the install period - unless you open the little upper glove box and see the S4 laying on its back.
If I can make some time soon, I will shoot some photos of what you can see of the install. It's pretty clean and works well. I got the idea for where to put the TOYSC1 from an old post at siriusbackstage.com (which is now defunct, and is now digitalradiocentral.com), so I can't take credit for even finding that myself.
