Say goodbye to the nosedivin' boat like drivin' SR5 fellas!

Thanks! I have a OEM front bumper and roof rack...why would I sell it? Shipping to Canada would be killer bro!

woops... that line was intended for ATL4R. I saw he had both off of his trail. I'm use to paying through the nose for shipping.. perks of living on an island in Canada! Can't wait for some more pics of your lift though... I like the look of the lift on stock tires ATL4R posted, but would like to see it on a non-tricked out TE.

So there you have it! Stock sized tires, 3" lift, NO RAKE, NO NOSE DIVE and a very nice firm sporty ride on this 4 Runner. No worries about gas mileage going to **** with 285's etc... Wifeys ride is complete! And, she is thrilled about the no nose dive when braking, loves the new suspension feel!

Been debating on this myself, how much stiffer is the ride over stock? My ride is my dd for 45 miles and have read mixed reviews on the OME. Thoughts?

Total Cost:

$950ish shipped for the OME shocks/springs/top plate
$350ish for install with alignment
$199ish for the wheel spacers

I am a big fan of the OME setup. I'm not sure how decent caster is possible with the top plate. I did not get those and barely got to 2.8-3 on the caster. I had the bilsteins before the ome setup and they were fine until I started adding weight. Things got really stiff and and not fun to drive - had the eibach 620 lbs springs on lowest perch.. The ome setup resolved this.

I think you can get the ome package for around $700 total. There may be better packages/manufacturers out there, but for the price I find OME hard to beat.

Newf4r: my trail bumper and rack are in my basement. Both are in perfect condition. PM me if you're interested.

In my opinion the ride is not too firm. It has a "sport" feel to it. It is firm but not harsh, it sucks up the bumps but doesn't jar you around at all. If it was too harsh she would already be complaining about the ride. Brake nose dive is gone! I am really pleased with the setup. I drive a F250 powerstroke everyday for work and its a pleasure to jump back into my 4 runner! Just do it, you will not regret it!

I bought my set pre-assembled. I think the top plate adds more $$ and so does the toytec super flex springs. I read a few reviews of the optional rear springs by OME being too "harsh" of a ride. I think the superflex springs are the answer for those who prefer the "stockish" ride but want the lift for bigger tires and a bit more flex.

I didn't ask for caster/camber numbers. It is a lifetime alignment, so I can get it checked whenever. The shop I used has a excellent reputation in the area and they lift junk everyday so I just kinda trusted them to do it right. I hope that doesn't burn me!

We removed this lift earlier this week. I am selling this 4 runner in the next few weeks due to wifeys 2014 Taurus SHO arriving. Man we are back to the stock SR5 mushy suspension. Yuck! If you are on the fence about a life, go with this setup! You will not be disappointed! I cannot believe I drove on the stock suspension for so long!

About the tire size , this is why Im going with a 2.5" lift. I should be able to hit alignment numbers better and I am going to run stock tire size, but not stock tires and felt the 3" was a little much and would make the ires look to small.

Nice looking lift and glad your happy with the ride and there is nothing like a happy wife too.

Im going with Toytec adj. CO's w/bilsteins front pre set at 2.5" and 1.5" SAW rear springs . Stock rims until spring time. Tires I'm on the fence with. BFG AT or Duratacs in a 265/70/17 size and a "C" rated. If I do step up in size it will only be to a 275/70/17 "C" rated Firestone Dest. AT ( love these tires)

That is the nice thing about the OME set up. If you dont want a full 3" dont install the trim packer spacer. It comes right off. As you see my set up has no rake at all. Minus the trim packer you are under 3" and a factoryish rake.
