scan gauge 2 question

just got my scan gauge 2, hooked it up everything is good. my only question is..

has any1 with a scan gauge 2 hooked up to their 3rd gen been able to get it to display transmission temp?

i have a 99 limited v6 4x4

Yes, you need to add the gauge via the XGauge menu.

Here's the codes you'll need to get the ATF temp

BUTTTT!!!!.......

now i have the ATF spot i selected it under my "gauges"
screen but it reads"- 36"

i think it as 36, i was in the car about 3 hours ago, but i drove it around for about 40 min and that number never changed.

and its literally a negative sign and then 3 empty spaces and the number. no mater where you select to put that gauge its the same "- 36"


any suggestions?

you might have mistyped something. I did cross check what I posted with another thread and the codes were the same. It is very easy to make a typo on the scangauge... i know from experience. Lol.

I typed mine in but it gives me a blank reading on the gauge screen. What did I do wrong?
