my actron CP9680 does a good job pulling engine data. the scan gauge II I also have to read tranny temps pan and torque converter Toyota T4R. I also use the SGII to pull the GM tranny fluid temps as well. CP9680 does not read those temps.

toyota does not have an oil pressure transducer so no pressures . toyota just uses a switch .. no oil pressure then the switch causes the oil lite to come on. also no engine oil temps no sensor.

I only got the SGII to use it for tranny fluid filling. works good. you can drive around and monitor the pan temp and then when it gets close park in your level spot and check fluid level/condition. pan tamp takes longer than torque converter. I also use a level on the pan bottom to make sure the pan is level .. magnetic level so it stays in place ..SGII you have to program it for tranny temps ... I got it for $110 at advance auto .. discounted rate.

CP 9680 readings air intake,engine temp / O2 voltages / fuel trims long/short/
timing /RPM / emission monitors/abs/ etc. failure codes as well. also creates charting to follow the sensors readings
