Scangauge alternative - Ultragauge. Anybody got one on a T4R?

Wondering if anybody here has an Ultragauge on a T4R yet?

There's a good thread on IH8MUD about it, guy's got it on his LX450, seems like a good setup:

I did a search on this forum and came up with one post but it was obviously from someone who worked for the manufacturer and was pimping for them :ybrick:

Am just wondering if anybody here has one on a T4R. Obviously most interested in how they work with a 3rd gen since that's what I have. Price seems good and there are a few guys on Mud who have them and seem to like them.

What I'm most interested in are the transmission temp features and the fuel mileage, DTE, TTE calculations and so on. Seeing as how the 3rd gens are notorious for having inaccurate fuel gauges, something like that could be a good thing on long trips, plus the cost is pretty good.

Thanks for posting this....I never even heard of the Ultragauge until now. It seems promising from what I've read so far and definitely a good value.

I wonder if it measures battery voltage on our 4Runners?

Coolant temp and battery voltage are two of the things I'd definitely display at all times.

The only negative I know of is the sleazy marketing practices that the manufacturer engaged in (google it, they had their marketing folks sign on to a bunch of forums as new users and then praise the Ultra-gauge. It even happened here.)

Like I said, the guys on Mud seem to rave about it and you can't beat the price. I assume it's made in China, but at least as of now it looks like a great (and cheap) alternative to a scangauge.

Yeah i saw how they post on forums. I dont like that they do that and all, but as long as the product is accurate and durable, I can overlook their marketing stategy.

Any found out if it has these features? After i get my tranny cooler, i will want to keep an eye on that temp.r
