I have seen many posts regarding the Scangauge. While doing some research I came across this - Aeroforce Technology Inc | Products - Interceptor - has anyone tried this one. Seems like it would be easy to mount in a pillar pod.

You should check out ultra-gauge.com. Its more capable and yet only a fraction of the cost. I have one and it just works great.

Whoa! I like it. Looks easier to integrate into the dash than the SGII that I have. I'd like to know if it measures engine oil temp and transmission fluid temp on my '99, before purchasing. The 4runner is not listed in their gauge availability index.
The thing you must understand about these tools is that they can only display what the vehicle's computer is willing to share. The ECM may in fact be measuring oil temp and trans temp, but if it does not make this information available through the OBDII connector, then it can not be displayed. If you look on the ultragauge site, specifically under there "gauges" link, they have a note that reads something like "available gauges are vehicle dependent".

I'm aware of that, and I did read the availability index, as I said (4Runner is not listed). This is why the SGII has "x-gauges", that allow you to program the SGII to uncover those other functions.
You might be the only Ultragauge user on this forum...can you tell us what gauges are available?
