SCION Head Unit on 2006 Sport ?

Hi Folks,

Spent some time reading the archives on this but cannot find if someone has attempted with success the swap.

Does anyone have any info if I can swap my '06 Sport's Stock Head unit (*not JBL*) with SCION ?

Which years SCION HU will work ?

although i am not familiar with the 06 stock HU... that is if it is any different, but i believe it should be a direct swap, and any years will work, but i recommened an 06 model becuase it has a volume knob

Thanks. The only differences between 06 and 05 radios are (I believe)

- Volume knob
- WMA playing capability

I have a sport with steering wheel audio controls, hence I think knob is a non-issue. WMA ?? ... I guess I am fine with MP3

Prices on ebay are double for a 06 Vs a 05 scion HU

Any other differences that you can recall ?
