I did the same in my '07. The results were well worth it. :bigok: Did you add iPod control as well? Did you loose the use of the factory AUX jack as I did on mine? Sory for all the questions. Looks good.

I don't mean to be dumb but this has been brought up a few times. We / I have an Ipod import jack in my center console that must be connected to the back of the radio. So why would there be any issues with it not working ??

Where did you get the radio from ?? Cost ??

is it compatible with the rear domelight entertainment? did you need another faceplate? also, was the scion headunit cheap?

yes i did lose the factory aux. and yes i did. i ordered SC12235 off ebay for 70, expensive, yes, but well worth it.

Much better! i love the headunit. My aux port was lost, theres a different wiring from scion and toyota. I got mine from scion forums and it cost only a cheap $75.

I'm not sure, and no. it fit perfect, yes it was $75

I recently bought a scion unit to install in my 05. Isn't there two anteena plugs on the stock toyota unit? Which one did you leave unhooked?

Ok, I installed it a little while ago. Answered mt own question: , there was one big antenna wire and one small, the scion unit used the big one.

One more question though, I have the single knob scion cd player, and was wondering if you can change the "scion" text to read something different?
