scratch remover

does this product actually work. im plannin to go get one but wasnt sure if it actually worked that well... so i need an opinon on it if anyone has ever used it

i heard it works, i think it do work. well back like 5+ years ago a product called GS-27 works, i used and it did a good job, it removed scratches and it gave the car the original color too , it juss dont work on deep scratches thats all, if u can find that GS-27 at kragen or walgreens its pretty cheap and it works

Never used it. But Meguires has a system that works great. I have never been let down w/ their products.

It's a hand polish, I'm a sure it has a lot of fillers. I would get a professional polish with a machine. That will eliminate the scratches, not hide them. If you can feel them with you finger nail, they are permenant.

Yes, Scratch-X does work for minor scratches. I've used it myself. What it won't work for is scratches that go deeper than the clearcoat. This is because it's designed to buff down the clearcoat around the scratch until it's level and the depth of the scratch is gone. If the scratch is deeper than the clearcoat, all you're doing is rubbing off all the clear coat and you'll still have a scratch in the paint below.
