actually just did it today
turn on the car and make sure your odo is set on ODO and not trip A or B
Turn it off and turn it back on ( dont start the engine)
As soon as you turn it back on press the odo button for atleast 10 seconds and buckle your seat belt while pressed
Then you will see a message on the screen and click the odo button once. you want it to say B off
and your done

You have to hit the odo button within 6 seconds of turning the battery back on and hold it. I held it for 10 seconds before i even put my seatbelt in, then as soon as i put the seat belt in, the message came up in the odometer area. It should say something like B-on and you want it to say b-off. just click the odo button once and it should work. other than that I have no idea.

Thanks, that works perfectly. I've had to do it twice now on my 2009. I did it right after I bought it, that worked for months. Then recently, I pulled a relay out in the fusebox under the hood for an unrelated reason, and after I put the relay back in, the stupid seat belt alarm reset itself and started up again, so I had to search and find this thread so that I could turn it off again. So I printed a copy of the procedure and stuck it in my Owner's Manual in the runner, in case it ever happens again -- I recommend everyone do that.

Wow CRDT4R! Im not sure how you knew that but very impressive. Im in Atl as well and traded inn the 98 T4R today for an 07. Sad to see the 98 go but loving the 07 so far.
