If you extend the lumbar support forward it makes it less curvy but also firmer

Go sit in a Tacoma for 20 minutes.....and you will be begging for the 4runner seats back!

We had a 2016 Tacoma for 2.5 years and I hate the seats every time I got in it. 4Runner seats are plush in comparison.

For what its worth, just to add options to this thread, and I apologize for being new to this forum but we had some customer mention it so we signed up.

For the 5th Gens we have solved all of the issues that have been referenced...at least for the driver side.

Took care of the airbag with our own airbag proxy. Took care of the factory seat heater switches by making custom plug-in harnesses (there are two because its splits at the seat heater amplifier). And for the passenger side we've solved the OCS system errors but we just need to finalize the design. At least for the driver side there is a little bit of seat dissection, you retain the fore-aft motor (no way around this) and you can then mount the scheel-mann seat of your choice.

We've even worked out the compatibility issue if your truck happens to have the seat memory function.
