Sounds good man. Hope you can make both/either. If not, maybe something this coming winter, I know you're a skier, and I'll be snowboarding all season at Stevens, so we'll have to work something out. I'm sure Keith and I will hit up Mountain Loop once the snow starts to fly. I'll remember to post.

The 4th is opening day for mule deer in Eastern Oregon. :redbrick:

I can toy with the idea of missing opening day, but we'll see.

Tahuya is pretty fun. I took my 87 there a few years ago and had a great time. My 87 had stock suspension with 31" tires (may have been my smaller MT's at that time... I don't recall) and no locker... I am sure your guys' fancy shmancy 5th gens can probably go through it without a driver. Probably a button for it somewhere. Oh, and a stock ranger made it through just fine other than a tire blowing out.

If I am able to go I have a winch, snatch block, straps, shackles, etc... I am still learning how to use it all to it's full potential, but after saving myself in the Florence Dunes last week, I am pretty proficient with the winch and tree saver at least.

Im down for when ever especially if its stock friendly i dont have the wheeler up and running yet. Later in the month is best though with rent being due and all on the first but with some advance notice i can swing it

Thanks for mentioning the other guys (gals?), I don't go out side of the 5th gen forum, so the screen names I listed in my most are mainly from the 5th gen section because I know they are in the Seattle area. I know there are a bunch of PDX folks on here, and I've met one a few times; but figured PDX guys might not want to make the drive. Looking forward, it would be awesome to find a place between SEA and PDX to go.

I don't think any of us have a winch. I hear that place isn't too bad anyway. I'd defiantly enjoy stepping up to Walker Valley or Evans Creek in the near future, too. But nothing too crazy, my 4Runner is my only vehicle and I have a few payments left. Not afraid of dirt, mud or scratches though.

is it at all possible to push it out one weekend to the 11th thats right after payday and rent and my wifes b-day is the 8th and think it would be a great outing to bring the runner out for the first time for her b-day if not ill dig up the extra gas to make it out there for sure never been wheelin where im the driver before so im super stoked and cant wait to go out and meet some new cool people that are into the same things as me :guitar2: ROCK ON lol

Any body here at Boeing 1st shift?? There are quit a bit of 4Runners here and few 5th gens. but I havent had the chance to run into the owners to chat since getting out of here after shift is complete chaos.

Welcome. My gf works at Boeing, shes in HR at the delivery center and works 1st shift. She drives our for the most part stock Magnetic Grey Trail, has tint, clear bra and matte black vinyl over the silver sections on the F+R bumper and grill and occasionally drives out Silver 3rd Gen with a RTT up top.

I ride the ferry over from Edmonds every time. The ride ire self is about 20-30 minutes then about a 45 minute to the trail head. It is totally worth it! I can't make it on the 4th because I will be in Portland but November sounds like a blast! Get ready for some water though.

It's not bad at all, but I thought someone mentioned that they would be willing to take their stock vehicle on some trails if someone had a winch. Wanted them to know they have no excuses now. =p
