I like the Southworth idea actually. 8:35 Leave Fauntleroy (stops at Vashon along the way) I'll be going this way. We can all meet once we are in line :blabla:

I'm in Lower QA. I've seen a white 3rd gen in the Upper portion that is done really well and a few 5th gen trails in the upper QA area too. I saw an amazing silver 5th gen trail last night in Ballard. Had an ARB bumper and what looked to be a roof top tent and nice tires

We need to set up another weekend! I am game for any and all between now and whenever. I can't make the 4th of October, but anything else is pretty much good to go. I have Saturday, Sunday, and Monday off every week. Let's keep this thing going.

I have been to Mountain Loop Highway many times. Lots and lots of fire service roads there. Beautiful area, well worth taking your family and some great hikes. nosamk has been out there a bunch, too. I know him and I plan to get out there when the snow falls now that I have some decent tires. Nothing "off-road" like, though it is all dirt roads.

Not sure where you are, but Walker Valley ORV is up north. I went there once, kind of got loss, was alone so decided not to risk anything and came back home. It's about 1hr 20min north of me in Lynnwood, so still not super close.

I was up Walker Valley in August. Unless you have a built runner, you aren't getting in there. Thanks to people partying and trashing the place, they gated all the trail entrances and piled rock scrambles on the sides. You have to be able to get over the obstacles to enter the trail system now. It ensures only the properly equipped vehicles are going in. The gravel pit is also only accessible with built rigs. Elbe Hills and Moses Lake are a couple of good places to check out too. I have explored all over the Mountain Loop and there really isn't anything I would consider to be "wheeling" worthy. Great place to hike though!

My friend clocked it on mapquest and i think she said it takes 45 mins to get there from lakewood which doesnt sound quite right but ill check today and make sure but im think lets say 9 for now i like being early and we can bull shit for a min grab some mcdonalds or something before heading out
 
on second thought lets meet in tacoma at 8:45ish i had the wifey clock it and she said its a little over a hour so i think 8:45 should do let me know what you guys think
 
Looks like im out for Oct4 :(
Volunteered for a project at work and now working every other weekend starting Oct4 weekend, but if things stay on that schedule i will have Nov22 still open for me.

Hard to pass up x1.5 and x2 pay every other weekend
 
Looks like I might be out - Dealer just called and said my new rig will be ready for pick up on Saturday! I will know for sure by Friday - if it doesn't make it in for some reason, I will still be meeting you all at the trailhead...
 
NoGo for me this Sat.
1. Tires didnt come in in time.
2. Have to work sat in 777WBJ

Im willing to take the hit at work if my tires were here, alas no dice. (unless for some miracle they arrive between now and friday afternoon)

Hopefully there will be some vids and a lot of pics!!
