I just talked to a Valerie, she stated that it has not rained today at all and the only deep mud that we should be worried about is the actual mud pits, which we would have avoided anyway due to their depths. She went on to say that the forest service roads and "jeep" trails will be just fine even with the recent rain.

I'm still excited to go. But, I'm easy so if we don't have the number to make it worthwhile and work then we don't have to go there. Time is a tickin....

The color in these pictures turned out a bit weird. The tint was way too magenta and I gave up on fixing it. Dunno if it was the overwhelming greens in the forest or what but my camera overcompensated for it....
