He has some money to save up to do the swap he is buying the blazer Monday than we are going to take it out and beat on it a few times than start taking it apart. He is giving me his axles and lift springs from the toyota so I can do my sas on the runner probably next winter or maybe this summer if money permits

My summary of our trip. We had a ton of fun on our end. We did have a minor mishap on the trail. As my wife was driving up a rutted hill the wire connector for the power wire to my fuse box broke which was an easy fix thanks goodness. it just sucks since we have a manual and momentum is your friend in that kind of a situation. Lol she did great. It popped loose a few more times. we enjoyed watch in [MENTION=110014]shufly09[/MENTION] Alex and [MENTION=117663]alaskafisherman[/MENTION] Ryan try and tackle the mud hole. Cant wait for the next run. Here are my pictures of Alex in the hole and an awesome chevy truggy. Enjoy ill have a few more once my wife e-mails them to me

Well got the green light for a lift! So many options but I think I'll keep it mild. Even though I want to go all out lol
So what I'm thinking is
Total chaos upper control arms
For the front cool overs I'm still up in the air, any recommendations. Looking from toytec boss all the way to fox and icons. I know the later two are going to be twice the amount and be another level offorad
For the rear
Aftermarket links
Sway away coils or icons
And either the bilsteins 5160 to some 2.5 walker evens or 2.0-2.5 foxs
Now I gotta decide and then find a helping hand to install if I can. I Live at an apartment and don't have much area to work but also don't wanna take it to a shop
What's your opionins on front coils? And thoughts on the route I'm going?

I mostly drive to and from work and wheel a couple weekends a month and will be hoping to do more that's why I'm tempted to just get a better quality but I also know that the moderate bilsteins will also handle what I'll do in a daily driver

Who would be interested in a snow run or a run sometime over the next couple weeks in general? I really like the idea of a snow run but with our unseasonable warm weather finding snow might be harder.

The trail Alex and I went on back in December was deep as heck, I'm sure even more so now. I wonder if it's passable. Long way to go to find out you can't get but a mile or less in it. It sure was fun though.
I went out with from co-workers this week... Video here... Not nearly the amount of snow Alex and I encountered back in December, but it was a great day.
Went to Tinkman Rd, outside of North Bend. Y'all should check it out for snow run.

4th gen guy here! If you are looking for a snow run, I'd suggest checking out some of the forest roads off Hwy 410. New Years Day we went up to Haller Pass with a variety of 10 rigs. Great day up there and mostly easy driving. Not sure how easy it would be to get up there with the snow after this past weekend, but it might be worth a look.

Nope, I try not to wheel alone and ended up pretty busy. I def want to do a snow run soon but would like to get a group to go.

Im with it we can try what [MENTION=85601]swanny[/MENTION] just posted. We got my bro's blazer running and found out he has a problem between the starter and flywheel. Apparently they are not friends and dont want to mesh for one reason or another. So we are going to pull his starter to see which one has the problem. If it just the starter we already got another one and are going to swap it so he can take it out with us before we start to tear it up. We started getting my brush guard set up than the wand on my welder got plugged and wont let the wire through. Stupid old welder lol, but with all that being said once i get a new battery tray and tie down built ill be ready to head out so i dont break that damn power wire again

I def like the Haller pass idea.
Its quite common on the older trucks like the blazer for the gears on the flywheel to separate from the flywheel and just freespin, ive had it happen and you have to replace the flywheel to fix it. its more likely that its missing teeth which can still be used, just wont grab occasionaly. I have worked on lots of older trucks so if you have questions feel free to ask. I worked as a mobile mechanic in alaska.

Thanks for the offer I'm pretty good with older trucks I know its one of the two we are just hoping its the starter if not than oh well engine has to come out anyways so he just went get to wheel the blazer, but by my closest est. his 350 is close to 300 hp so it should make for one hell of a wheeler

My 7.3 powerstroke should be somewhere around 500+HP and when I used to wheel it, it would paddle itself through anything i ever went through lol I wish my 3.4 could make 300hp
