Seattle area 4Runner Meet Up anyone?

My 7.3 powerstroke should be somewhere around 500+HP and when I used to wheel it, it would paddle itself through anything i ever went through lol I wish my 3.4 could make 300hp

His 350 has a cam, high rise intake, and edelbrock carb, and who knows about the internals bit its real healthy. They make a lot of performance parts for the 3.4 I don't see why you couldn't build it to that. Now its probably going to cost you 5 grand to build it but id say it can be done. I wanted to build one but its half the price to do a small block swap and I can make twice the hp

I am going to shorten them to raise my front approx. 3.5" then install 4runner strut mounts to each because the bolt pattern is diffferent. I also got from the same guy and from the same 2013 tacoma 2 bilstein shocks that are the perfect length to go with my rear lift.

Why not just leave them so u get more than 3.5" of lift

Id end up with 6" of front lift if they did fit lol i dont thinnk my cv axles would bend that far

Good point. So I just had a wrench thrown in the mix on this car I'm working on maybe u might have an idea. I'm changing out a hub and its not available in one piece it has to be pressed together any ideas

hmm, if you have access to a press thats the easiest way, otherwize you can try heAting the outside piece up with a propane torch till its super hot then it might slide on. but really u need a press or a big friendly rubber mallet

My little torch is almost out of propane no mallet or press I'm going to see if I can use my high lift as a press

I also recently removed all the carpet and the back seats and bedlined the whole floor. the seats and carpet went to the dump as they were nasty. and it is now just a 2 seater

You want a back seat ill sell you one real cheap hell if you can figure out how to press this apart and back together ill give it to you and its leather so easy clean up

I think I'm going to just pull the spindle off and see if I can beat it apart with a impact socket and hammer if not I'm going to bring it to a shop down the street and see what they want to do it

I finished installing the rear shocks today and boy what a difference!
Then i started the fronts... Everything is all messed up, on our last wheeling trip i bent the crap out of one of the front sway bar links so im getting rid of it for now. and the new shocks are a pain in the ass to customize. Also it looks like someone already did a diff drop cause there is no more room for it to go down.

I got the front part with the studs out but I can't get the bearing race out of it. I smacked the crap out of my thumb with the hammer whi h gave me a knot on my thumb. My wife was supposed to call around but didn't have time today. If ur interested I have my procomp es9000's for sale they are still good I just can't get the nut off the top to pull them. If you can get them out ill sell them to you. They have 21" of travel so they should work for u. well i was able to get the new shocks assembled with the correct top hats, just have to weld them back together this weekend so they should work. and should be right at 3" of lift. just have to figure out how to get them back into their location on the front

You are definately one hell of a mechanic and know your stuff because I know a lot but damn you blew me away with all that. I may have to pay you to come down and help me get my volvo running. I am thinking of how to swap my front clip with the front clip of a new tacoma I think that might look cool

Got ya. I wouldn't have ever thought of doing all that especially with tearing the shocks apart and shortening them. But hey that's how you can get a cheap lift so I'm with it. You are definately one hell of a mechanic and know your stuff because I know a lot but damn you blew me away with all that. I may have to pay you to come down and help me get my volvo running. I am thinking of how to swap my front clip with the front clip of a new tacoma I think that might look cool
