If you need help with your Volvo i'd be happy to come down some day and give you a hand for free. what year make model engine etc? whats wrong with it?

Hell yeah that would be awesome. Its a 87 240 wagon non turbo automatic. The fuel pumps are not turning on and ive already replaced the ignition switch and relay I'm just not good with electrical problems. Well at the very least ill cover your gas to come down. heres a pic of her i call her Goldie locks. She was my grandmas. I got her after she passed. My gramps gave her to me because i have been trying to get my grandma to sell it to me for like 2 years.

My custom front TRD 5th gen Tacoma suspension is done! Removing the old suspension took 16 hours... rusted and spinning bolts suck! after cutting, shortening, and welding very carefully the new TRD bilsteins it only took 4 hours to install. gained right around a perfect 3" of lift over stock. And the ride is amazing. it is soo smooth its unbelievable

I am still finding mud from the darn pit under the truck, i have pressure washed it twice already. i need nobbier tires for that pit

Ha I haven't even bothered to wash mine lol I just barely see the point since its going to rain anyways but I need to pressure wash under my hood for sure though so I'm going to end up washing it I need to detail it there is dirt all over the inside from my tow strap and chain

Part of the reason i bedlined the interior was so i can literally just hose out the inside. but before i can do that i need to relocate some wires

Hear that and keep it for just a wheeler. We started welding brushguard together ang I found out the winch mount in it will un bolt so I'm going to go get the winch mount from harbor freight so I can use the full size winch

Can you please explain exactly what/how you pulled this off? What parts? Coils? Struts? Tophat? Picture off complete front suspension? Thanks

First off, I am a professional welder. I would not recommend anyone try this as if your weld fails going down the road it would be very bad!

I bought a almost brand new set of stock 2013 Tacoma TRD front coilovers which are Bilsteins. They come with an extended lower which is solid steel round bar, which makes them 2.5" too long to even consider trying to fit..

I then bought tophats for my 97 4runner. I reused the rubber isolator from the TRD coilovers with the new tophats as they are a tad wider. I had to modify the rubber bushing under the tophat to get it to seat down further.

Next I cut out the lower steel rod off of the shock to shorten it 2 1/4" and then welded the strut to the mounting ring thingy.

welding to the shock/strut was absolutlly one of the most difficult things i have ever welded. the shock is full of extremely flamable oil and if it bursts or you get it too hot and you end up with a hole the shock is ruined and not fixable. Yet you still have to end up with a perfect 100% weld or you risk the chance of your weld failing, especially when you wheel like I do.

Nice, I might start my rear bumper today. i bought mud flaps for it but am not sure if i am going to use them cause they arent the best looking(i bought them online). Im also thinking about doing the dual battery mod and modifying the airbox. I also want to get a unassembled stinger for the front.

Funny you mention that, last night after welding on the 4runner all day i went to start it and it cranked fine but no start. i put foot on gas and cranked and it fired up and ran fine. went to dinner and went to leave got in and dead battery. got jumped and started right up. drove home and turned of and then tried to start and dead battery. let sit hour, then jumped it with my commercial charger, put voltmeter on batttery and held fine at 12.6v running. then volt meter crapped out and couldnt test if there was a draw when off. was able to turn off and on over and over by itself after. Havent tried starting this morning yet.

I'm going to throw my battery on the charger while I go change the tps and throttle cable on my buddies dodge and when I get home ill see what happens but I don't think its the battery good thing is I already have another starter and relay from my parts runner

well it fired right up this morning. so not going to worry about it. I joined the WA 4x4 meet and wheel page on fb so hopefully i will get out tomorrow.
