Seattle area 4Runner Meet Up anyone?

well it fired right up this morning. so not going to worry about it. I joined the WA 4x4 meet and wheel page on fb so hopefully i will get out tomorrow.

Elbe was Awesome. A great group of guys went out. there was a Jeep comanche, a cj i think, 2 cherokees, 2 older toyota pickups, and 2 4runners total. I was able to keep up with way more built rigs and it was a blast... Except for taking a stump down the passender side doors..

Also the other 4runner was a 2nd gen with SAS lifted way high, on their way home someone almost did a head on with them and they slammed on the brakes, went into a ditch and rolled 3 times... Everyone is ok but one person had to go to the hospital. 4runner looks totalled.

I cant wait to get my rig done enough to go out to some better places. i mean tahuya is fun but would be nice to be able to go to different places. sorry bout the stump that sucks. looks like it was fun wish we could have rode along

Yeah it was a blast, cant wait to go again. hows your rig coming? Im gonna work on some body armor pretty soon, alread took a sledge to to door to try to straighten it out, didnt work, might have to squich is back in my my full size

You can go get another set of doors and take the beat omes and make half doors I got my rig to start battery mysteriously went dead charged it and it started right up. I'm going to finish pulling my front suspension tonight and move the jack stands around and start the rear tomorrow

Weird, my battery problem ended up being the alternator which i replaced 3 months ago, stopped at oreillys on the way to elbe to have them test it and it was putting out no power, they couldnt find the reciept oin their system so i bought another one and replaced it at the Elbe trailhead yesterday mmorning

im going to swap back to my old one when i get home and get it tested tonight because i cant have my shit be dead when i go leave for work in the morning

I getting me a new toy this weekend. its a garrett ar 100 you should know this turbo because its a turbo from a 6.0 powerstroke im thinking on using it for my volvo.

Your volvo wont put out anywhere near enough pressure to get anything out of that turbo. You need a tiny turbo for the volvo. that turbo is meant for a big v8 diesel.

I dont think so, you really need one of the stock turbos of of a volvo

my volvo is already turboed and innercooled i just want to beef it up so it craps on hondas ultimate sleeper
