I keep seeing a nice 3rd Gen in the morning up in Marysville. Desert Dune, ARB, rear swing out and 5th Gen SR5 wheels...anyone on here?

Also, is there anyone local with a 3rd Gen and an Addicted Plate bumper? Would like to see one in person before I pull the trigger on one.

I sold so parts to a kid that said his friend is one of the guys that either owns it or works there. Ryan aka [MENTION=117663]alaskafisherman[/MENTION] is going to help me build mine. I've got some round tube and c channel and some plates so we should beable to do something cool. How much were they if you don't mind me asking.

I was going the plate route, but would of been more. Alot more

im bouncing between a plate bumper or tube. its probably going to be a mixture of both. If i have enough material i want it to be all tube with the plates in all the spaces between the tubes. i think that would be sick.

yeah that makes sense. I didn't quite think about that. I was just thinking of strong and wont break if it hits something. My 2nd gen has already kissed a concrete wall. Only thing that stopped serious damage was the brush guard that i had welded to the bumper. So all i had to replace was the bumper and brushguard. I have a new bumper and the brushguard off my parts truck that im using for now, but i want custom bumpers. I wanna try and win "T4R of the month" with by budget build. Most of my parts are right place right time sort of things.

My whole build is parts from the junkyard. The only thing new are the armor, winch, and front BILSTEIN shocks. Everything else came from the junkyard!

Nice. Did you find your lift in the junkyard also? My whole parts truck (the black one you saw on craigslist) I got it for $100. Steal of a deal. I just have to figure out what to do with the body since i don't have paperwork on it.

Yup! Got the TRD YY/YB coils and rear landcruiser OME shocks from the junkyard. The front landcruiser coils for the rear I got free from my friend.

I also have an adjustable rear panhard bar new from TOYTEC

nice so you researched what works for the lift and went out and found it. Thats awesome. Makes me wish i had the coil overs. Sounds like if you know what you need the 3rd gens are easy to lift. I just happened to walk into the chevron by my house at the right time and saw the right tow truck driver in there. He asked if i wanted another 4runner for parts. At first i said no. than he said how about for $100. I said im interested now and got the run down on it. He towed it to my house a week later. $1200 lift for $100, plus gears sliders and the crappy 38's that were on it. I think it was a steal.

Picked up a new project for the wifey this weekend. Its a 94 BMW 325IS E36. It might have the M package on it. Will be fun though
