Secondary PCV valve?

Okay, anyone with the 3VZE engine knows the absolute RIDICULOUSNESS involved in replacing the PCV valve.
So I have a question: If the original PCV on the passenger side valve cover gets clogged up, would it be possible to just leave it, and then install a PCV valve in the breather tube on the drivers side valve cover instead?
This may be the stupidest/most pointless idea I've ever had, but I'd like to know if it could work, and what damage I may or may not cause by trying this.

Your not crazy (goin on a limb here) but I dont think that would work because its not like a OHV motor where it "splashes" up with the pressure, correct me if I am wrong internet, where a SOHC or DOHC has to maintain a certain pressure. And on a V6 or V8 it has to have a certain pressure on both sides of the "V". Thats why there is a second tube on the drivers side of our V6s that has a hose to the intake(intake vacuum is used here?). If one side is plugged and the pressure gets to high (passenger side) the oil will squeeze out the seals into the combustion chamber on the passenger side. So you know if your PCV is bad when the oil pressure gauge is showing really high.


I could be completely talking out my behind but I do know that a PCV is bad with too high oil pressure on the gauge for sure.

It could work. You'd have to make the breather where the PVC valve currently is. Run hose and make sure there's a baffle where the breather is.

^^^Agreed. That is what I was trying to say/get to in my previous post. If your to do it It has to be on the Passenger side rocker cover still.
