To all the guys who will say “I’d never spend that much on a 4runner”: I’ll just say I have way more than this invested in aftermarket parts, and I still don’t have a supercharger or a front bumper!

I'll agree with you that it's priced about right for someone willing to replace the motor. Too bad its not running, but I'm sure it would be around the $12k-$13k range if it were. I wish I had a way to get it too.

My rust-senses tingle just looking at the engine bay.

And I'd also worry about it being a hard 240k since it's SC'd. I don't know, but there's something about those mods and being in Florida that scream "I've been rode hard and put up wet."

It's sold already but at $5k someone could do a long block engine swap for $2500 if doing it themselves, all new brakes, and u-joints for a total of under $8-9k and have a very nice super charged rig as long as the trans is okay. Heck; I've got that much into my 01 and it isn't even a 4wd or SC'd. Needless to say it's now a definite keeper because I'd lose my ass if I tried to sell it.
