Selling my 1st gen today. what a sad day

ok here's the specs. well I live in NY so the demand for a beast of a truck such as this.


Ok here it goes let me know what you think...

1986 4runner powered by a 1995 chevy 4.3, advanced adaptors to stock trans stock transfer, 4.88 gears the rear is locked with a detroit.

suspension... 4" trail master suspension lift dual shock hoops. new shocks all around.
2" body lift
35" mud tires 90% tread left

I have custom made 1/4 doors I made out of a spare set of doors, with custom canvas snap on covers for those rainy days.
Soft top one season old
Hard top with extra glass

the bad
breaks need to be bled
the windshield has a crack in it
and it needs a clutch. I also have a spare trans just incase there is any problems with the trans.

This guy is coming to look at it today. he said he'll give me 2 grand what do you think?

If the body and interior is in good shape then I would hold off for at least $3500. In my area (Tennessee and surrounding area), your runner if in good shape will go for about $3500-$4000.

thanks for the advice. I'm going to post some pics. the body is OK noty the best interior is pretty clean. thanks again. the guy just came and tried to low ball me.

thanks you think I could sell it for that much even though it needs a clutch? does anyone know anyone looking for one? I'll give them a great deal. I'd rather give it to you guys than give i to this guy trying to nickel and dime me. I live in Staten Island Ny

I know where you can get a van with the 4.3 v6 that runs great in KS. If I had any idea how to do motors I would grab it myself. (My dad's old astro van.)

If I ever did a chevy motor swap it would be on a trail only rig that lives its life on a trailer and the trails. My DD is staying with the 22re, but I'm loving my 22re with it being built up!
