SEMA Show - anybody go?

I've been going to SEMA for about 15 years, but this will be my first as a 4Runner owner. I work in the auto industry, but my company doesn't make anything for 4Runners so no sales pitch here. But I'm curious if anyone else goes from this forum. I actually fly out early for booth set up and get in the show before it opens. If anybody want pics of something let me know. And I will try to post anything I see of relevance. Any suggestions on things I need to stop in on and see/photograph?

I did see this concept artwork online. Not sure if this will be there but I will definitely be on the lookout for it.

I hadn't planned to go but it sounds like fun.
My list:
Any hidden winch platforms that fit behind the stock bumper.
Any new roof racks that are actually flat from front to back and low on top. The Gobi has a raised front rail that makes hauling lumber and other long loads difficult. The only viable option I'm aware of is Baja Rack's Utility Rack or the standard basket rack, which is a bit short for lumber and canoes.
Any new front bumpers that fit in between the stock bumper body work, like the SSS. Or the SSS bumper on a 2015 T4R TE.
New suspension systems from ICON and any brand of replacement trailing arms and pan hard bars.
This is just what I'm interested in acquiring in the near future.

Unless it's a tarted up vehicle 100% likely to go into production--because it's a pre-production mule... Toyota has been pretty damn disappointing at SEMA.
 
That thing is most definitely a brorunner. I bet the cargo area is stuffed full of flat-billed hats and affliction t-shirts.
 
I worked in the auto accessories industry for over 10 years and attended SEMA in 2007 and 2013. However, for the past 5.5 years I've been in the power generation industry ( power plant) but I still enjoy the accessories industry. I've been dying to go again but for the last two years the plant I work at is on outage (overhaul/fixing stuff we can't fix online) during SEMA week, which means no vacation time granted. Hopefully next year.

My request for pics/info is primarily anything for the 2016 Tacoma and of course 4Runners. Beyond that, cool, rare muscle cars, diesel Titan/Tundra.

Oh, and have a drink for me! :cheers::beer:
 
Ill be there too. Most looking forward to Tacos El Gordo, go karting and finding Richard Rawlings and making fun of him..

Has he realized people now watch the show for Aaron since everyone else has left?

And hanging out with his creepy ass rich douche bestie isn't helping things?
 
The SEMA show is useless to me. I live 2.5 hours from Vegas but unless you know someone in the auto industry you can not get tickets to the show.
 
I go every year. And every year I always tell myself "I am not going this year."

But I'm excited to look for some new stuff for the 4Runner.
 
To everyone that goes how do you get your tickets? Are you all in the auto business or have friends that get the tickets for you?
 
Last year I bought tickets on Craigslist. A random guy had extra passes - i paid 75 on the 2nd day and it was good for the whole week.
