The bittorrent version says it will only run 30 times before it has to be registered but I guess that's enough. It's garbabe and doesn't work though, it can't connect with the USB OBDII adapter and says it has to have an online connection before it will work so it's worthless!

Yeah, I got one shipped from Hong Kong. Arrived and works fine. I wouldn't ever do any ECU flashing with it, but to change custom features and view vehicle stats they work great.

Be advised that I needed an XP laptop to get it to work. Some ppl have mentioned installing a virtual XP machine on their Windows 7 computers, but I avoided the hassle of that by using an old XP laptop we had laying around!

There is a count about number of times you can hookup without the software connecting to the server, but I believe 30 times should last me a long time and you can probably uninstall the software, clean the registry, and reinstall for a new counter. Guessing here tho...

Are you sure that dialog box didn't include a "continue anyway" button or something. I'm pretty sure I saw that screen too and there was a continue button...

I beleive there is a way to reset the counter in the ".ini" file. I will have to look at my other machine to verify. It was mentioned in a long thread here about TechStream.

Not really. The problem with the 30 run time limit is that it counts down each time you do anything like just trying to connect to the USB OBDII adapter so you could actually use all 30 times just trying to get it working once!
