sensor question....

I need some help with identifying a sensor on my 3.0. I had to change my alternator the other day and there is a sensor right beside the lower alternator bracket. a previous owner had damaged the wire running to the plug on this sensor and had the wire taped on. I want to replace the plug and sensor but I do not know what sensor it is. if anyone has a clue..............


btw, if you didn't notice I am a little mechanically challenged.

The best wayto identify sensors is to pull it off and type the part number in to google. You'll have an answer right away.

Sounds like the oil pressure sensor...
