Serpentine Belt Squaks On Start

Might be the tensioner. You gotta try to isolate where the sound is coming from.

If the belt is in good condition it's either the idler pulley bearing or the tensioner pulley bearing or the tensioner itself is weak and not applying enough pressure, I had the same problem and eventually the tensioner pulley bearing totally seized up and I had to replace the tensioner pulley/bearing assembly, the tensioner itself was still working fine.

Mine squeaked when it was wet out was due to the tensioner - the idler pulley bearing being toast sounded like a textile mill and was constant - I thought it was the PS pump, but thankfully it was not.

Mine has the same problem. Will check the idler and tensioner. Hopefully that solves it. V8's so smooth that the squeak really stands out.

Mine did the same thing, mainly when it was cold outside. Replacing the belt solved the issue.

Had some issues after I got it replaced do to the fact that I messed up the pattern (put it over one of the pulley as apposed to under). Check the belt, check the diagram.
