Shakes at 55-60 MPH

My steering wheel shakes (not much) at 55-60. I recently had new tires and G-2 spacers put on. I am thinking maybe one of the wheel weights fell off but I am worried the spacers might be the cause. I torqued the spacers as specified. Any thoughts? I'll be asking the guys at 4 Wheel later today.

More than likely your wheels were not balanced properly.

I had a similar issue, shudder at 50 - 55 mph. I had the tire shop try and re-balance twice to no effect. It turned out to be a bent rim. Most likely a pothole. They did a quick fix by throwing some balance bags into the tire and the shudder went away. Since I live in an areas where potholes are a way of life I can't get in to get the rim looked at for 6 weeks with the huge backlog. Hopefully you just threw a weight, I am not looking forward to the repair bill on the rim...if they can even do it.

OK so my bad. I was told from (what I thought a good source) that the G2 were made with high tolerances and there would be no problem. I took off the fronts on my lunch break and no more wobble at 60. Actually there is just a tiny bit so I can see how it would be amplified with the added length.
Damn! It looked so good with'em.
I am not sure if I am gonna try the Spidertrax or not. What a blunder on my pert.

UPDATE: After a service where my tires were rotated the vibration, which had almost gone away, became much worse. I took the truck to a local shop with a Roadforce Balancer to do a more thorough check to make sure the rims were true, and see if they could balance the tires....after they were done I test drove it and nothing had changed. There was still an obvious vibration at 80km/hr. I also have wheel spacers so I took them all off and test drove again. The vibration was completely gone. Obviously they were the cause. The original tire shop that had told me the rims were bent was out to lunch, but I am happy I found the issue. I have since put the spacers back on, re-torqued and tested again. No vibration. So it goes to show you that spacers are 100% a maintenance item and should be checked regularly. My guess is when I got new rear tires after a flat, the shop messed with the spacers. I will probably take them off again and run without, I have standard size tires and the potential headache is not worth it for some extra "poke".
